…when you need to go.
it took me three years to really come back from a stroke, broken heart disease and a real full blown heart attack, and what will i do get back on the bike, as i love it so much and have missed it every minute :). So know everything is oiled, gears are in order, new chain is in only the rider has to fit again, will the two weeks bring me back to speed after being in France for 12 days with having a major cold the the last three ones. Well, only time will tell ( to be really honest i miss my team mates on this ride as mighty bruno and the quick henri will be not part on this ride ) i will go alone and ride slowly up the hill, the bear that i am.

This time it will be that there is a mountain waiting for me and i will go up slowly brethren real slow as it is “only” a whopping 80 km of steady climb up a 3275 m altitude high whopper of a mountain. I am sweating buckets already. As this time i am going to Taiwan to climb up a mountain which cannot pronounce but know its there, haha. But what i saw was breathtaking to say the least and what i hear from my old mate Tony ( who was a bike courier for the better half of his life ) is that Taiwan is one of the loveliest places on our blue marble and that the people are really nice and forthcoming and not to talk about the wonderful food ( i won’t talk about it yet, because it is too mouthwatering already ) so here is just two climbs which got me into the same hight area as the Taiwan Mountains but only 2000 + m in altitude but everything hurts already.

So how will it look when i heard that the Taiwanese Mountain will give you up to 25% incline on the last 10 km up the hill ? To be honest lads, I cried already into my blanket out of sheer horror.

But will i be there ? Of course, I will go to see what lies ahead of me and will bring out the beast to to see and tell you about it, if not i will at least tell you about how wonderful it was take pictures of everything i ate and will go back next year. Thats it thus far.
